WHERE YOUR TEAM TRAINS – THE NHL AND THEIR FACILITIES

For fans who love the NHL, and love their team, if you ever wondered where they train, and ever wanted to come to a practice, many teams do hold open practices for the teams to come and see, at the local training arena, which is generally a few miles away from where the teams play their home games. Although most of the practices are closed off to the public, before the season begins, or early on in the season, many teams will allow the fans to come in and enjoy watching their favorite players. They will also sign autographs after the training, and stick around for the younger fans to meet them. When on the road, the facilities where the teams are going to train is generally where the games are held. So, if they are the visiting team, they are generally going to train in the actual arena, where the game will be played. This can give them a bit of an advantage, since they are the away team, and get to know the ice a bit, before the game. So, whether they are on the road, or at home, the training facilities are going to be in different locations.
